How many hours should I work?

You can set your own hours! Whether you are looking for part time or full time work, the schedule is flexible. We recommend dialing one day, and running appointments the next day, and the day after.  

How are taxes done?

 You will be a 1099 employee so you will be responsible for paying your taxes. 

What does it mean to be an independent contractor?

You own your own book of business! You are able to offer 15 different A-rated life insurance companies to best suit your clients.  

What training do you offer?

We hold Quarterly Sales Conferences that are hosted by FFL's Vice Presidents and Sales Managers. We currently have Quarterly Sales Conferences in over 20 cities across the country.  We also offer an incredibly detailed website with everything you will need to know before sitting down with clients. Only our top producers can train. 

What if I can't afford leads at first?

We have different options to help you during different parts of your career. This is something you can discuss with the person who recruited you. 

What type of technology will I need?

This varies between agent to agent.  There will be times you will go to areas that have no service so we have found it best if you have an IPad with a data package, and to ALWAYS carry paper applications. A lab-top with a personal hotspot can work, but you aren't able to use your phone to make a calls within the house.

How much travel is involved?

This will depend on where you purchase leads and where they are available. In most cases you will need to travel 30-60 minutes outside of where you live to run business. Travel expenses are tax deductible! 

What do I wear?

Business Casual. 

Men: Jeans and a polo

Women: Blouse and non-ripped jeans. 

What will it cost me to become an new agent?

Expenses:

  • Liability Insurance: $326.
  • Lead Expenses: Varies based on each agent. Contact your upline
  • Life Insurance License: $55-$80 depending on the state you reside in.
  • Fingerprinting cost: $35
  • Attire Cost 
  • Data plan ($30) + IPad
  • Business Cards
